With Canada’s recent recognition of Macedonia ‘s constitutional name, along with the United States, China, and Russia, behind us, our will and determination is stronger than ever before. The United Macedonian Diaspora is working tirelessly to move the Macedonian cause forward and has achieved great results, but as an organization of volunteers our capability is limited, whilst the resources of those who oppose our right to self-determination and our human rights, have no limits.
We cannot stress enough the importance of an office and full-time employee in Washington D.C. Donate $10, $20, $30, $50 or $100 and help UMD to help all Macedonians overcome the continuing challenges they are faced with on a daily basis. e.g. If as few as 200 individuals donate as little as $100 each, UMD will be one step further in meeting its goal and be able to establish a more permanent Macedonian presence in Washington, D.C.
We need to work on ensuring full support from the international community for our rightful name, particularly those member-states of NATO and the European Union. UMD is actively working on Australia ‘s eventual recognition of Macedonia ‘s constitutional name.
